Dear Future Spartans and Families,
As we open the 2025–2026 school year, I’m pleased to welcome you to the first edition of the St. Francis High School Admissions Newsletter. Whether you're just beginning to explore your high school options or have already connected with us, we’re honored to share more about what makes St. Francis such a special place for students to learn, grow, and thrive.
At St. Francis High School, students are part of a dynamic community grounded in the Franciscan values of peace, respect, service, and integrity. These values are not only woven into our mission—they shape the day-to-day experiences of our students, from the classroom to extracurricular life, and from spiritual development to service in the broader community.
We are proud to be nationally recognized for our excellence in both academics and innovation. SFHS is one of only 1% of schools in the country to be named a National Blue Ribbon School by the U.S. Department of Education. We are also a Microsoft Showcase School, a distinction given to a select group of institutions worldwide who demonstrate visionary leadership and excellence in teaching and learning through the use of technology. Remarkably, SFHS is the only high school in the country to hold both honors at the same time—a testament to our commitment to preparing students for success in college, careers, and beyond.
We would love for you to experience this exceptional environment in person. We invite you to attend one of our upcoming admissions events, where you can meet current students and faculty, take a guided tour of campus, and learn more about the many opportunities available at St. Francis High School—from our rigorous college preparatory curriculum and dedicated support services, to our wide range of athletics, arts, and faith-based activities.
To view our full schedule of events and register for a visit, please visit sfhscollegeprep.org/admissions.
Our Admissions Team is here to walk with you every step of the way as you explore what’s next for your student. We look forward to meeting you in person and sharing the spirit of our welcoming, faith-filled community.
Pace e Bene—Peace and all good.
Go Spartans,
Patrick Jacobsen, Director of Admissions
