Just for fun, let’s coin Saturday, December 3 “Testing Saturday”—the day of testing for Catholic high schools. “Testing Saturday” is about taking the first step on a path of exceptional college prep at St. Francis High School. I encourage you to test at St. Francis High School for priority admission and scholarship eligibility. Although we will welcome walk-ins, we encourage pre-registration by November 30.

The Student Perspective:

What do Athletics mean to you?

James C. ’24 (Golf) – The best part of the season was the whole thing. The amount of friendship and chemistry was amazing, which made everything fun – practice and tournaments. If I had to pick one thing, it is the Spartan Cup. It’s a series of events between teams to win points to win the cup. Everyone is involved and everyone is pushed to do their best. It brings out the best and teaches hard work. Moreover, it’s just fun to do with friends!”

KK D. ’24 (Volleyball) – The best part of the season was winning State! We worked hard all year to finally take the trophy home. The winning point and celebration was surreal and beautiful. Participating in sports is the best way to get involved. It allows you to be involved in some fun and be competitive while also giving you the best of memories with your new best friends.”

Ellie G. ’23 (Tennis) – “My favorite part of this year’s tennis season was creating lasting memories with some of my closest friends, which made my senior tennis season my favorite season. The biggest reason why participating in sports at SFHS is so impactful is because of the friendships that can be created that otherwise would not have come about without participating in sports.”

Alessio M. ’24 (Football) – “The best moment of the season so far is the first game beating Lake Forest, a bigger school who beat us the year before. Being involved in athletics is a really good way to challenge your skills and get to know other students around your school.”
