The Rt Rev Doug Sparks Bishop of Northern Indiana

All Glory, Laud, and Honor!

This Sunday is Palm Sunday, and we will be joined by a special guest presider and preacher: The Rt. Rev. Doug Sparks, Bishop of Northern Indiana! Join us for this special service as we begin Holy Week.

Holy Week at St. Francis

Holy Monday, April 14th at 6:00 pm - Holy Eucharist

Holy Tuesday, April 15th at 6:00 pm - Holy Eucharist

Holy Wednesday, April 16th

Stations at 5:00 pm, Holy Eucharist at 6:00 pm

Walk the Stations of the Cross with Fr. Davies and Deacon Tim Perry from St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church at 5pm at St. Francis. The Stations of the Cross (also called the Way of the Cross) is a traditional devotion commemorating the last day of Jesus’ life. The devotion is an adaptation to local usage of a custom widely observed by pilgrims to Jerusalem: the offering of prayer at a series of places in that city traditionally associated with our Lord’s passion and death.

After walking the stations with Fr. Davies and Deacon Tim, stay for Holy Eucharist at 6pm.

Maundy Thursday, April 17th at 6:00 pm

Participate in this liturgy where we commemorate the institution of the Eucharist and celebrate the call to serve others with an invitation to wash your feet in a special ceremony.

Good Friday, April 18th

12:10 pm

At 12:10 pm at St. Francis, come to our Good Friday Proper Liturgy, which includes John's account of the Passion gospel, the solemn collects (dating from ancient Rome), and the Veneration of the Cross. The Eucharist is not celebrated in the Episcopal Church on Good Friday.

6:30 pm at Zionsville United Methodist Church

Join us and our siblings in Christ of the Zionsville Area Ministers Association (ZAMA) for The Seven Last Words of Christ: Reflections and Worship on Good Friday at Zionsville United Methodist Church at 6:30pm. Clergy from ZAMA will offer reflections on the seven last words.

Holy Saturday, April 19th

10:00 am short prayer service

Join with your fellow parishioners in a brief service of prayer before we prepare the worship space for Easter Morning.

Easter Sunday at St. Francis

7:30 AM Festival Eucharist

After a long journey through death and resurrection, this service greets our Risen Lord with the sun. This happy service celebrates the Holy Eucharist for the first time after Maundy Thursday.

9:00 AM Festival Eucharist with Music (in-person and online)

Let us proclaim the risen Christ in this joyful Easter morning service. This service will be livestreamed on our Facebook page and will remain available for viewing after the service.

 10:00 AM Easter Egg Hunt

Children of all ages are welcomed to a treat-filled egg hunt. We look forward to resuming our Pitch-In Brunch next year.

11:15 AM Festival Eucharist with Music and Incense

Praise God! Let the music and our voices burst forth with unreserved joy as we celebrate the Word that we buried along with our hope so long ago: Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!

Men's and Women's Retreats at Waycross

Waycross has announced its annual men's and women's retreats!

Men’s Weekend is May 16-18, 2025. All men 18+ are invited to spend a weekend at Waycross in fellowship. There will be talks, small group discussions, activities and meditations around the theme Liturgy of Love. The weekend will also include music led by the very talented musicians Mark and Paul, prayer, activities and free time to recharge. Programming around the theme Liturgy of Love will be led by keynote speaker Fr. Ben Wyatt.

Women’s Weekend will be May 30-June 1, 2025. Women 18+ are invited to spend a weekend at Waycross together. We’ll hike, work on a collaborative art project, pray together, and more! This year’s programming will be inspired by the opening line of the song Give Yourself to Love, ‘Kind friends all gathered ‘round”. We will focus on building intentional community, combatting loneliness and what brings us together. There will be space to reconnect—with yourself, friends - new and old, nature, and God—through engaging conversations and shared experiences.

Registration links may be found at https://waycrossccc.org/waycross-events. The registration deadline for each program is two weeks prior to the start of the program.
