Join us this Sunday for the Baptism of Isabel Luna Hecht
This coming Sunday we will welcome Isabel Luna Hecht into the family of God through the Sacrament of Baptism. As we do so, we all have an opportunity to renew our own baptismal covenant. A covenant is a sacred kinship bond between two parties. In the baptismal covenant, God’s grace is granted us through the death and resurrection of Christ and we become members of the Body of Christ. We, in turn, commit ourselves to live for God kingdom. None of us fully live up to that calling, but we pray God’s help to do so. Join us this Sunday and renew your baptism!

Change to Church Office Hours

Our church office hours will change effective August 1.
The office will no longer be open on Fridays.
Office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Memorial Service for Stephen Smith

The memorial service for Steve Smith will be at Green Hills Memorial Park on Friday, July 30, 11:30 a.m. The St Francis community is invited to attend. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

Sunday Worship

8:00 a.m. - Rite I in person worship in the Chapel.
(spoken service, not live streamed).

10:00 a.m. - Rite II in person worship in the main church with music.

All welcome: no reservations required for either service.

Masks required: LA County mandate requires masks worn indoors regardless of vaccination status.

10:00 am Sunday worship will continue to be live streamed on Facebook and YouTube, and available for watching later.

Please contact Kristina Pelá to arrange for a Lay Eucharistic Minister to safely bring you communion.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings at 7:00 pm. Live on the St Francis Facebook Page.

Compline is led by a team of lay leaders, including some new faces! Watch, pray, and comment with others live. Or watch later in the evening before you sleep.

Youth Group is on hiatus over the Summer. We will resume in the Fall when school starts.

Summer Communications

Peter and Susan Marshall will both be away for the next few weeks, attending the wedding of their daughter Zoë in DC, and then (travel regulations permitting) visiting their mothers in the UK. All for the first time reuniting since the pandemic began.
