Two upcoming chances to help decorate Patterson for VBS

As we near VBS next week, we have a need for volunteers to help out with decorating for VBS. This year we will feature a wilderness theme and have some great ideas we could use help with. The two times we will be decorating are:

  • This Saturday, July 5th, anytime between 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  • This Sunday, July 6th, after church, approximately 12:30 - 2:30 p.m.

Pizza lunch will be provided both days, so please email Heather Agnello at hagnello@stgiles.org and let her know which day/s you plan to participate, if you would like to partake of pizza and any dietary restrictions you might have.

Christian Education

July Sunday School Class

Cheryl Angus will be teaching a Sunday school class in July based upon Ray Vander Laan's "The Life and Ministry of the Messiah." Each week will include a 5-10 minute DVD and show locations where Jesus actually taught. The class will meet at 9:15-10:15 in Patterson on July 6, 13, 20 and 27.

New ONLINE Life Group this Summer

Lois Badey and Ross Anderson will be leading an on-line Bible study in July. The study will take place Thursdays (July 10, 17, 24 & 31) from 6:30-7:30 p.m. If you want to attend, please contact Ross (rossandbetty@yahoo.com) and ask to receive the link via email each week. We'll use Eugene Peterson's study book on Psalms; you can buy it at Amazon for $9 but that's not required. You'll need a computer and internet access. Feel free to eat dinner while we study! Ask Ross if you need help opening up a MICROSOFT TEAMS video link on your computer. Very easy to use, it's similar to ZOOM.
