Invite Your Friends -"For His Glory" Organ Dedication
As you know, this Sunday, Oct. 10 at 6:00 pm, we will be celebrating and dedicating our new organ. Here is an announcement we are featuring in various publications, and we invite you to do the same as we celebrate the dedication of this wonderful instrument this Sunday.

The 152 stop, 128 rank R. A. Colby organ at St. Giles Presbyterian Church, 5200 Grove Avenue, the largest organ in the greater Richmond area will be dedicated on Sunday, October 10th at 6:00 pm with the music beginning at 5:45 pm.

Six Richmond area organists will be featured performers including Stanley Baker from Centenary United Methodist Church, Scott Hayes from All Saints Episcopal Church, Christopher Martin from Grace Covenant Presbyterian Church, Jeffrey Hummel from Third Church, Daniel Stipe from All Saints Episcopal Church and Trinity Lutheran Church, and Linus Ellis from St. Giles Presbyterian Church. There will be a combined Choir and special music for all those attending.

The Dedication will be followed by a reception.
For His Glory Campaign
What’s that beautiful music coming from the Sanctuary?! Yes, the organ is completed and sounding wonderful! So you may assume that our For His Glory Capital Campaign is completed…..well almost! We will be paying the final organ bills as well as purchasing the new chiller for the Sanctuary (which is the final piece of the property portion of the campaign) soon. This week you should be receiving a statement in the mail showing the status of your capital campaign pledge. Please fulfill your pledge as soon as you are able. And since some folks that pledged have moved away or moved on to Glory, we would welcome any additional donations to the For His Glory Campaign. Please feel free to contact Susan Andrews or Patience Flynn with any questions or concerns.

Women's Tuesday Morning Bible Study
The Women of the Church meet each Tuesday morning here at the church. If you have not been participating in our study we would welcome YOU. We gather at 9:30 AM for fellowship and light refreshments. At 9:45 we begin with prayer, worship, and announcements followed by a video series. We are currently enjoying the study of Jesus and Women done by Kristi McLelland. She is a speaker, teacher and college professor. Her expertise is explaining the Bible passages on women through a Middle Eastern lens. We have been blessed by her expertise in teaching us about the Western Lens versus the Middle Eastern Lens. We are allowing her to unfold the stories of the Samaritan woman at the well, and the woman who anoints Jesus' feet with her tears and wipes them with her hair, and more. Jesus restores honor and dignity to these women. We continue to look forward to all that she has to share with us in the remaining weeks of this video series. We are trusting God to grow us in our individual walk with the Lord and to experience his love more deeply.
