Healing Prayer Sunday –
A Call for Testimonies!
Our last Healing Sunday we had two incredible services where God showed up in some wonderful ways as we prayed for one another. Our second service actually went over by 10-15 minutes because the Lord was at work and we didn’t want to put a stop to it! That being said, we also take seriously what God does in prayer and believe that when He answers we want to share that as testimony to His faithfulness. So if the Lord met you this past Sunday in prayer, would you care to share your testimony with Pastor Josh? We would love to simply praise God for what He is doing. To contact Josh, you can just send a quick email to him at That said, if you have testimony from weeks past, please share that as well. Praise God from whom all blessing flow!

First Thursday Book Club February 2nd at 10 AM
In his book Share Jesus Without Fear, author William Fay shares that there are two kinds of people reading his book: 1. Those who talk about the lost, 2. Those who talk to the lost. Consider coming to First Thursday Book Club on 2/2 at 10 AM in the parlor to discuss the powerful ideas in this book on evangelism. Lunch will follow the meeting for those whose schedules allow.
Team For God Walk January 28th
Please let us know if you will walk with us. On Saturday, January 28th at 12:00 noon we will meet at 3001 Meadowbridge Road, Richmond, for a brief training session before going out. Faith Leaders, members of the Richmond Police Department, VCU Unicef Division, and other community partners, have been meeting to bring a program to the communities to help bring peace where there’s chaos. We worked diligently to come up with a way to fight the violence and mentality that cause homicides and crimes, depression, loneliness, anger, and other things. But we can’t help the people if we don’t know the people and have relationships with them. This walk is our first step in building those relationships. A bible will be delivered to every home we go to. To join us, call Jo White at (804) 937-6836 or go to For more information go to
