Integrity - St. Patrick & St. Bridget

Dear St. Isidore School Families,
“
The price of your character will always be found in the value of your integrity
.” –
Michelle A. Homme
Throughout March, we will celebrate the monthly gospel value of
INTEGRITY
. Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong principles such as respect, trust, and responsibility. It is listening to our hearts and simply doing the right thing. Integrity is a value that must be taught to children and to instill it takes hard work and dedication on the part of the parent. I am proud to say that I see these traits on campus every day and that your effort to raise good people is evident and commendable. I applaud you!
Coronavirus Communication
Due to the heightened threat of coronavirus, I have implemented several precautions to help provide a safe and healthy campus. These precautions include increased janitorial services campus-wide and the deep-cleaning of classrooms. Sinks, door handles, and play structures will also be sanitized daily. In an effort to reduce the exchange of bacteria, students are now eating lunch in the classrooms. Bathroom doors will be left unlocked to eliminate touching the keypass and handle, and middle school students will wipe down the desks between each class.
If your child shows any signs of illness, we kindly ask that you keep them home, and we encourage you to speak to them about washing their hands frequently throughout the day.
The school welcomes any donations of hand sanitizer, anti-bacterial wipes, and paper towels. Thank you for your cooperation during this time.
Cancelled: Fish Fry and
Screenager
Parent Showing

Thank you to Mrs. Devine and Miss Groman for coordinating this fun event. Your hard work is greatly appreciated. This year’s SIS Talent Show participants are pictured above.
Spread the News
Please help us spread the word to friends and family in our community that we are still accepting applications for the next school year. Welcome LaPorte Family!
The LaPorte family moved to Danville last summer from Pacifica, CA. Peter and Laura are thrilled to see their twins, Madeleine (K-Johnson) and Willem (K-Sullivan), blossom and grow in St. Isidore’s nurturing environment. Laura is a regional head of marketing at SAP and Peter manages marketing web development for Esurance. In their free time, the LaPortes enjoy taking family trips, reading together, and visiting museums. Peter was born and raised in Kansas City, and it goes without saying, has been a faithful Chiefs fan throughout. Laura (née Aquino) is a St. Isidore and Carondelet alumna and is delighted that Madeleine and Willem are also now part of the SIS family! If you see the LaPortes on campus please take a moment to introduce yourself.

Scrip News...
to order!
The Corona Virus has been heavy on everyone's minds. If staying stocked up with essentials and antibacterial products is on your "to do" list, keep plenty of Amazon handy. Safeway also has a home delivery system to keep contact with the public limited. For those of you who are still scheduled to travel, Scrip can still help. We are open this Thursday, ready to fill your orders. Even though so many in our world are in turmoil, we can still do something to help those in need in our community. The Soup Kitchen serves the needy of Contra Costa County. Consider making a donation to the Soup Kitchen through Scrip. It can be as small as $5 but it will mean a lot for those who have very little during this Lenten Season. Thank you for shopping with Scrip!
