March 20, 2019 - Walking Together in Faith
Integrity - St. Patrick
Dear St. Isidore Families,

Spring has Sprung
Today is the official first day of spring! The change of season is welcome after the long, wet winter. With spring comes warmer weather, more daylight, and nature’s gorgeous display. It is as if the earth has awoken after a long slumber. Flowers and trees begin to bloom, birds can be heard chirping, and everyone seems to have a little more pep in their step. This new beginning is one of God’s greatest gifts, and His presence can be felt deeply while we enjoy the beauty of it. Take time to enjoy the peace and serenity that comes with this time of year.
I want to send out another thank to our amazing PTG for the fabulous job they did on our school auction. It was a wonderful evening and the change of venue was great. Thank you for taking the time away from your families to prepare for this event. We cleared over $280,000 for our school. This will cover the expenses for the fence and will supplement our current operating budget. Thank you for all your donations and for purchasing auction items. Yay, St. Isidore’s!
Mornings with Maria
To encourage open communication and build community, I will be holding a “Morning with Maria” on Friday, March 29, at 9:30am in the St. Isidore Room. These meetings allow the school and parent community to come together in a casual atmosphere to discuss topics of interest. Coffee and breakfast goodies will be provided. I hope to see you there!

Random Act of Kindness
Random acts of kindness are deliberate attempts to brighten another person's day by doing something thoughtful, nice, and caring. Go out and spread kindness SIS. Please let the office know if you do or witness a RAOK.
Being kind is cool! There is a group of 8th grade girls that have formed a "Kindness Club." The goal of the club is to spread kindness and joy throughout the school. They make blankets for sick parishioners, put positive affirmations in lockers and recently surprised the 5th grade girls with friendship bracelets. Members of the club gather together every Thursday with Mrs. Devine to brainstorm ideas. The members of the club choose to remain anonymous. We applaud you, whoever you are!
