May 29, 2019 - Walking Together in Faith
Compassion - Our Lady of Fatima
Dear St. Isidore Families,

“Life is a collection of moments.”
I can’t believe we are about to say goodbye to another school year! I often wonder where the time goes and how each month seems to move faster than the next. Day after day we wake up early, make sure the uniform is clean, the lunches are made and the homework is done. We do this, knowing full well the whole routine will begin again tomorrow. Raising school-age children is busy and the schedule is hectic, but I encourage you to cherish these moments, even the mundane list of daily to do’s, because it won’t last forever. Believe it or not, you will one day miss driving through the SIS carpool, so I’ve heard. On behalf of the SIS faculty and staff, I want to thank you for allowing us to be part of your moments. We look forward to the days ahead!

Graduation day
On Thursday, May 30, the Class of 2019 will celebrate their graduation. Festivities will begin with the Graduation Mass at 10:00 a.m. At mass, the first grade class will pay a special tribute to the eighth graders. The graduation ceremony will be held in the church at 5:00 p.m. Graduation is bittersweet; I am overjoyed and excited for the graduates’ futures, but will truly miss every one of them.

Come grow with us
St. Isidore School is a great place for children to grow! I am excited to announce that we have over 40 new families joining us next year. We still have a few openings in select grades including Kindergarten. Please feel free to mention this to family and friends as you mingle this summer. Word of mouth continues to be our best marketing tool.

School Board Message
As the year comes to a close, we want to thank our amazing teachers and staff that keep our children safe and help nurture their minds and souls every day. You bring our Catholic traditions to life, create a positive learning environment, and encourage our children to blossom. You constantly go above and beyond our expectations and we appreciate all you do!  Thank you to our PTG and the numerous volunteers that help make our school community thrive. From working in the classroom or around campus to chairing the numerous events and activities, you are the heart of our school and what makes this community so special.

A personal thank you to my fellow board members who went above and beyond this year. Your dedication to St. Isidore’s health and prosperity is evident in all you do.   We welcome three new members to the 2019-20 School Board: Sheren Bouchakian, Michael McGirr, and Mahsa Tippins. Matthew Semansky will take the reins as President and I know he will continue to guide us in the right direction.

We hope you have a spectacular summer and look forward to seeing you in the Fall.  Please reach out to us at  schoolboard@stisidore.org  with your comments and questions.
