December 18, 2019 - Anchored in His Love
Kindness - Our Lady of Guadalupe & St. Juan Diego
Dear St. Isidore Families,

Merry Christmas, Y’all
We are almost there! Christmas is days away, and the excitement for the holiday and the break is electric; the school is abuzz with excitement. Christmas time is special and brings out the best in us. Greetings among friends, warm hugs, holiday traditions, delicious treats, and a genuine feeling of love fill the halls of St. Isidore School. Soon, we will come together to celebrate the birth of Baby Jesus—the true reason for the season. On behalf of the staff and myself, thank you for the love and kindness you bestow upon us all. We are truly blessed!

For unto Us a Child is Born
I invite you to join us tomorrow, Thursday, December 19, at 8:10 a.m. for an all-school Mass. This is a wonderful opportunity to reflect and pray together at Christmas time.
At the end of Mass, the first grade class will perform their annual Christmas Pageant. As a reminder, tomorrow (Thursday) is a 12:00 p.m. dismissal, students are to be dressed in "Christmas Best," carpool is park & pick up, and there will be no Kids Konnection after school.

Hark the Herald Angels Sing
Last week’s annual Christmas Concert was fun for all! The students did a wonderful job, filling the room with holiday spirit. I want to thank our music teacher, Ms. Micaela Groman, for her hard work and dedication. She truly gives one hundred percent, and the school is better for it. Thank you to Miss Lettire and Miss Groman for the adorable faculty video.

Sip & Shop Thank You
Unfortunately, in last week’s newsletter, the wrong Katie was thanked for helping with this year’s Sip & Shop Holiday Boutique. I meant to thank Mrs. Katie Doherty for her hard work and dedication to this event. Sorry, Katie, for the confusion!

Good Tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year
I simply cannot get over how fast this school year is going and how much we have accomplished thus far as a school and community. In the true spirit of the season, I want to express a heartfelt thank you for your contributions to our success this past year. Best wishes to you and your family for a joyous Christmas and a Happy New Year!

God bless,

Maria Ward, Principal

P.S. School will resume on Tuesday, January 7. See you then!
