December 4, 2019 - Anchored in His Love
Kindness - Our Lady of Guadalupe & St. Juan Diego
Dear St. Isidore Families,

“It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year!”
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving break! Thank you so much for your kindness on Principal Appreciation Day. Dennis and I are blessed to be part of such a wonderful community. It seems like overnight the seasons have changed, and suddenly we find ourselves on winter’s doorstep. There is a definite chill in the air, damp days, and an obvious change in daylight, but our spirits are brightened by the joy of Christmas time. Christmas is special, and the signs and feelings of this wonderful holiday can be seen and felt all around. Colorful lights scattered through the neighborhoods, the cheery sound of Christmas carols, the smell of delicious cookies, and the sheer wonder and excitement seen on the faces of young and old alike can brighten the coldest of days. I hope you find a quiet moment sometime this season to take in the sheer joy of it all. Savor it for a minute or two, and then go out and spread some merriment!

Christmas Boutique
Today’s annual Christmas Boutique was a frenzy of excitement. It is always heartwarming to see students hand-pick special gifts for family and friends. I want to thank Tara Preston for chairing this event; it’s a fantastic SIS tradition. Her energy and excitement was contagious and I know that the students had a blast. Thank you to all the parents who donated gifts and volunteered to help make this day so wonderful!

Tonight’s the night! Don’t miss out on the fun. Join us at the Sip & Shop Holiday Market from 5:30pm to 9:00pm in the Cardelli Center. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $40. This festive event is a great opportunity to shop while you eat, drink, and be merry with friends! All ticket sales and 15% of event night vendor sales will benefit the school. A big thank you to this year’s chairs, Amanda Cox and Catherine Selway, and their many volunteers for providing us all with a fun and fabulous night!
