Integrity---St. Patrick---Volunteer Week A
|
|
Dear St. Isidore Families,
“Integrity is doing the right thing when no one is watching.”
Throughout March, we will celebrate the monthly gospel value of
INTEGRITY.
Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. Respect, trust, and responsibility are all part of living with integrity. I am proud to say that I see these traits in your children in the classroom and on the playground every day. Integrity is something that children must be taught. As a parent and as an educator, I know instilling these values in children takes hard work and constant dedication, but I also know that the effort is worth it. You are raising good people and that is important and commendable.

FUND-A-NEED: 21
st
CENTURY CLASSROOMS
Thank you so much to the many who have supported the school renovation thus far. Updating the school is a large-scale project that was started two years ago and comprises several construction phases. Phase One focused on raising the ceiling in the center hallway, new floors throughout the center building, and a 21
st
century update to the third, fourth, fifth and sixth grade classrooms. Phase Two will allow us to update the remaining classrooms—first, second, seventh and eighth.
The goal is to provide an engaging and interactive learning environment for your children. I ask you to consider donating to Fund-A-Need, helping us provide the very best for the children.

TEACHER TREATS/AUCTION PICK-UP
Thank you to all who purchased our popular auction “Teacher Treats”! TK-7th grade parties will be held this Friday, March 9th, from 5:00p.m–8:00pm. If you have any questions, please email Rory Motas before Friday at
rmotas@stisidore.org
. Please pick up any items you purchased at auction from the school office as soon as possible. Thank you for your support.
SPRING FORWARD
Sunday, March 11th is Daylight Savings Day! “Spring Forward” means setting the clocks ahead an hour, causing us to lose an hour of sleep. On that note, I understand the mornings can be busy and traffic can be tough, but we have seen a significant increase in tardiness. Please be at school on time and try to attend all Friday masses. Mass is an important part of who we are, and we have noticed several families checking in after Friday morning Mass. If your child is sick, please contact the school attendance line by 9:00a.m and contact your teacher directly for make-up work. I appreciate your help.
God bless,
Maria Ward, Principal
