October 3, 2018 - Walking Together in Faith
Peace - St. Francis of Assisi
Hello, St. Isidore Families,

It’s that time of year when many things are changing. The weather, the time, the leaves; our bulletin board in the front office says, “Seasons change but Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” While this time of year has its changes, there is one constant, and that is Christ Jesus. This week we are conducting our goal-setting conferences. Let’s keep in mind that Christ is the center of all we do. Our teachers are your partners and want the best for your children. If need be, make a plan with your child’s teacher to help your child thrive.

Open House: Spread the Word
We are hosting an informational open house for anyone who may be interested in our school. Word of mouth is the number-one way prospective parents find out about our school. Please help us spread the word to neighbors and friends about our upcoming meeting on Friday, October 19, at 10 a.m. Families will have a chance to see our wonderful school in action. It is always great to see families walk into our classrooms and compliment the teaching and student engagement that is happening. We can’t wait to show new families how special St. Isidore School is. If they are unable to attend, please have them call the office to schedule a personal tour with Jill Tripaldi, our admissions director.

Have a great week,

Maria Ward

Did You Know?
Mrs. Devine is our School Guidance Counselor, our Student Leadership facilitator, the Team Leader of our Challenge Success Team, part of our Religion Committee, and supports our Second Step social~emotional school-wide learning program. If you ask Mrs. Devine what she does, she would tell you she is always trying to enhance the culture of our school by building a loving community for our students and our faculty. She feels if a student is not okay emotionally, no learning can happen. Everyone has something going on in their families and she wants to be able to provide safe and loving space for everyone. She feels honored to be a part of our school. Her next personal goal is to work on an Administrative Credential.
Challenge Success

When students feel able to meet parent expectations, they are less likely to be worried and stressed about their schoolwork and less likely to suffer from physical symptoms of stress.
