Donation for Refugees

St. Pauls in Louisville has contacted us with a request for help. They are trying to help 2 young women from Kahrkiv, Ukraine who managed to escape with their kids and are now settling in Louisville. The housing has been solved and the next step would be to try to get them a car. If you or someone you know would be willing to donate a used vehicle to this family, please contact Deacon Mary.
The Never-Ending Chore - LAUNDRY

St. James will be sponsoring Laundry Love on Saturday, August 13 from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. We will be collecting cash as we are back to handing out quarters. We are also looking for volunteers of a small crew to work the event. Our goal is to raise $500 since the need is so dire. Any leftover monies will go to support the food pantry at the laundromat. We also welcome any food donations. This is different from the food we collect for Red Cross. Please contact Pam Martin for more information or any questions.
Looking for Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to put together a St. James Cemetery Committee. This group would maintain the cemetery throughout the year. For example: trimming bushes, pulling weeds, etc. If you are interested, please email Annie and let her know.
