Math Team Success

Congratulations to the St. James Math Team, who took 3rd place overall in
the 32nd Annual Middle School Math Bowl at Armstrong State University!
Junho Chang was also awarded 3rd place in the written test!

Halloween Fun

PK and Kindergarten dressed up and had a Halloween parade around school! St. James teachers dressed up too . . . what a spooktacular day!
Spirit Week

SJS Spirit Week is always a great time of year!  From powder puff football to blue and white day, to fiesta latina to the lip sync contest and fall festival . . . it is one of the best weeks of the year!
Fiesta Latina

SJS held it's 9th Annual Fiesta Latina during Spirit Week and it keeps getting better every year! Congratulations to Profesora and all of the students who did such an amazing job!
Exciting Lower School Learning Projects

St. James lower school students have been learning in a variety of ways! Kindergarten experimented to see if a pumpkin would float, 1st graders learned about the Saints from Sr. Carolyn, 2nd graders decorated pumpkins with their 8th grade prayer partners and 3rd graders worked in the organic gardens!
Outside of the Box . . .

Fourth graders are reading a book for a world-wide book challenge and skyped a mystery classroom who was reading the book in another part of the country, 5th graders smile as they enjoyed their field trip to the Jepsen Center to see Monet's works of art, and 6th graders visited Spanish Oaks residents to play BINGO with our friends there!
Eight Graders Visit
St. Vincent's and Benedictine

St. James 8th graders visited our Catholic high schools this month, St. Vincent's Academy and Benedictine Military School!  A few weeks later, students from both high schools visited SJS and helped with morning patrol and greeted all of our families!
