Palm Sunday was a grand day of community worship and fellowship.
The youth group also had a beautiful hike in the woods at Susan and Harrison's house.
Our wonderful volunteers are busy "sprucing up" our spaces for Easter Sunday. We are so grateful for them!

"Red Hats" Are Going To The Gardens!
All ladies of a certain age are welcome to join us for a Red Hats luncheon at Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens on April 28th. We will meet in the tearoom at 11:30 for lunch. It's $20 for non-members of LG who wish to tour the gardens afterwards. We are loosely connected to the national Red Hats organization, but we seldom wear red, and almost never wear hats! Dani Stockwell heads up our group, so if you have any questions, contact Dani We hope to see a large group there for a springtime treat.

May they be strengthened and encouraged as they work with us to proclaim your Good News in this world. We pray for Donald, our President, Abigail, our Governor, and Steve, our Mayor, and all our elected officials. Guide them to lead us to the common good.
We pray for members of our community, friends and loved ones who are ill, especially, Gus, Erin, Meghann, Haden, Hilda, the Smith family, Mary Lou, Alicia, Erik, Steve, Margaret, Patty, Jennifer, Susan, Dearing, Jason, Mike, Melissa, Amy, Martin, Cara, Sharon, Sandi, Jack, Winnie, Michael, Addison, Pam, Julie, Ray, Kelly, Jack, Dale, Mark, & George.
We pray for the poor, the sick, the hungry, the oppressed, and those in prison. We ask your prayers for those serving in the diplomatic corps, the military, and as missionaries: Larson, Greg, Matthew, James, Ellie, Andrew, Katherine and Duke.
