This family-friendly service will include a procession and blessing of the costumes. Please dress in your Halloween best (nonviolent costumes only, please) for the blessing.

Adult Formation

Stand, Sit, Kneel, Bow: Worshiping in the Episcopal Way will be Sunday, Oct. 15 and 22 at 9 a.m. in the Trinity Room. Have you ever wondered why we do something—or don’t do something—in worship at St. James or in the Episcopal Church? Join us for a behind-the-scenes tour of the parish, explore the unique aspects of our tradition, play a few games to help us remember what’s special about our liturgy, and answer any and all questions you might have. This is a great and fun refresher for long-time Episcopalians and newcomers to the church.

The next Short Stories for the Soul has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Nov. 14 at noon in the St. James Room due to the Clergy Conference on Oct. 10. Each month we read and discuss the spiritual insights of short stories selected by participants and clergy.
