Sunday: Biblical Storyteller Denise Bennett

Denise's program for all ages will share some well-known and perhaps not so well known stories from both the Hebrew Scriptures and the New Testament. She tells stories in a variety of ways that will engage young and not-so-young listeners alike, and includes music with harp and voice. Denise will also share how she got started telling Bible stories and consider why we "tell" Bible stories when we can just read them.

This Symbol Defines Our Church

This Celtic symbol represents the head, hands, and feet of Christ. Depicted on a communion wafer, this becomes an ideal representation of One Bread, One Body as we work together to build Christ's Kingdom on earth at St. James's.

As you pray about your 2020 annual gift: Consider your life's blessings. Your pledge should reflect the gratitude and joy for all we have received in our lives. Your gift is simply a heart-felt, documented financial commitment to support our remarkable ministries in the year ahead. Collectively, our financial support provides about 90% of our annual budget. Without our pledges, St. James's would not be the vital church that we love.
