July's Passion Offering
Since 2006, Holy Joe's CafĂ© has been sending free coffee to U.S. military bases around the world. Their mission is simple: serving a little bit of home to those who serve our country.
From their humble beginning collecting cans of coffee in a church in Wallingford, Connecticut, they've grown to serve billions of cups of coffee and helped open over 300 coffee houses throughout the world, mainly in the Middle East but also in places like Africa, Europe, and even on board Navy ships and in NATO military hospitals.
Where the troops go, they go.
Please give as you can to this unique and
special ministry for our troops.

Calling All Servants of God!
We are updating our Worship Volunteer List for the Fall. Many of our members are currently on this list and serve in rotation throughout the year.
Using the insert in the bulletin, please indicate where you would like to serve St. John's UCC.   Even if you are already on the current Worship Volunteer List, complete the form to clarify whether you will continue in the same areas or perhaps try something new.
Copies of the current Worship Volunteer List are available by request. See one of the ushers if you would like one.
If you are not currently on the Worship Volunteer List, please prayerfully consider how you would like to serve.

Attention Amazon Shoppers
If you shop on Amazon, please use as the web site when you do your shopping. This is a small way you can help your church. Even your family members and friends can participate. At the top of the menu, search for St. John's United Church of Christ Jonestown. Once you select that charity anything you buy, the church will receive a portion of what you've spent.  There is no difference in pricing or selections when using the web site. Thank you for supporting St. John's.
Enjoy the Convenience of Electronic Giving
It is encouraging to see both new and familiar faces at our worship services. Throughout the year, many of you already support the congregation with your time, talent and financial contributions but greater participation is always welcome. We encourage you to look into our electronic giving program. It takes just a few minutes to set up a recurring giving plan. Contact the church office for more details or pick up an authorization form today.
