LA GRANGE AREA FOOD PANTRY

Our Third Graders at St. John's are collecting chapel offerings for the month of September for La Grange Area Food Pantry. Throughout the school year, our class will purchase items from chapel offerings collected in September to donate to the food pantry.
You can help, too!

The Pantry is in need of regular sized canned goods that a family can use (not restaurant-sized containers) especially canned corn and canned beans, size 4 diapers, cereal, pasta, and non-food items which are not covered by Snap or Link cards. Each month we have a featured item to shop for.

September’s featured item will be SHAMPOO. 

We will be collecting items at our next Meals To Go on Sunday, September 20, 2020 at 1:00 PM.

We look forward to serving God through our Food Pantry donations, and helping people in need in our community. Thank you!

September Photo Challenge

What is the Family Photo Challenge?

For the month of September, families and individuals can have fun creating a scene and taking silly photos together! Each week, you will be given a new theme, and a different “Guest Judge” will select his or her favorite photo. The winning family gets a $25 Gift Certificate for PIZZA! 

2nd Week Photo Theme: "Apples are Awesome!"
(Show us your creativity eating, cooking, or having fun with APPLES)

Due End of Day on Monday, September 14:

Challenge Details:

  • Photos can be taken at any time and are due each Monday by 11:59 PM.
  • One photo per family. Please label photos using your last name.
  • The winning photo will be announced in our Weekly Wings and Mission Newsletters.
  • We would love to see people in the photos!
  • “Families” can be a single person, pets, or your extended family crew.
  • Uploading your photos grants St. John’s permission to share your pictures on our website, social media, slide show, etc.
