Hymn of Praise
For the Beauty of the Earth #92 (v. 1,2,5,6)
For the beauty of the earth,
 for the glory of the skies,
For the love which from our birth
 over and around us lies;
Lord of all, to thee we raise
 this our hymn of grateful praise.

For the beauty of each hour
 of the day and of the night,
hill and vale, and tree and flower,
 sun and moon, and stars of light;
Lord of all, to thee we raise
 this our hymn of grateful praise.

For thy church, that evermore
 lifteth holy hands above,
Offering upon every shore
 her pure sacrifice of love;
Lord of all, to thee we raise
 this our hymn of grateful praise.

For thyself, best Gift Divine,
 to the world so freely given,
For that great, great love of thine,
 peace on earth, and joy in heaven:
Lord of all, to thee we raise
 this our hymn of grateful praise.

Prayer of Intercession

Prayer of Confession
Sovereign God, we come to you today recognizing our dependence on your mercy and grace. We have not always kept your words in our hearts and minds, and often choose to build our lives on the temporal wisdom of today.
Forgive us, O Lord, for our tendency to disregard your ways. Impress upon our hearts the authority of your Word. Guide us by your Spirit, such that our lives may be grounded in the sure foundation of Christ, and His kingdom may be extended to all. Amen.

God Is Good All The Time
God is good, all the time;
He put a song of praise,
in this heart of mine.
God is good, all the time;
thro’ the darkest night
His light will shine.
God is good, God is good, all the time

If you’re walkin’ through the valley,
and there are shadows all around,
Do not fear, He will guide you,
He will keep you safe & sound
He has promised, to never leave you,
nor forsake you. And His word is true…

God is good, all the time;
He put a song of praise,
in this heart of mine.
God is good, all the time;
thro’ the darkest night
His light will shine.
God is good, God is good, all the time.

We were sinners, so unworthy
still for us he chose to die.
Filled us with His Holy Spirit,
now we can stand & testify
That His love is everlasting
and His mercies,
they will never end…

God is good, all the time;
He put a song of praise,
in this heart of mine.
God is good, all the time;
thro’ the darkest night
His light will shine.
God is good, He’s so good. (3x)
All the time.

Sermon
"Wise Builder Act" - Pastor Brad
Sermon series: Building on the Rock

Hymn
My Hope is Built #368
My hope is built on nothing less
 than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame,
 but wholly lean on Jesus’ name.
On Christ the solid rock I stand,
 all other ground is sinking sand;
 all other ground is sinking sand.

When darkness veils his lovely face,
 I rest on his unchanging grace.
In every high and stormy gale,
 my anchor holds within the veil.
On Christ the solid rock I stand,
 all other ground is sinking sand;
 all other ground is sinking sand.

When he shall come with trumpet sound,
 O may I then in him be found!
Dressed in his righteousness alone,
 faultless to stand before the throne!
On Christ the solid rock I stand,
 all other ground is sinking sand;
 all other ground is sinking sand.
