Hymn of Praise
All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name #154 v. 1, 2, 3
All hail the power of Jesus’ name!  Let angels prostrate fall;
Bring forth the royal diadem,
 and crown him Lord of all.
Bring forth the royal diadem,
 and crown him Lord of all.

Ye chosen seed of Israel’s race,
 ye ransomed from the fall,
hail him who saves you by his grace,
 and crown him Lord of all.
Hail him who saves you by his grace,
 and crown him Lord of all.

Sinners, whose love can ne’er forget
the wormwood and the gall,
go spread your trophies at his feet,
and crown him Lord of all.
Go spread your trophies at his feet,
and crown him Lord of all.

Prayer of Intercession

Prayer of Confession
Amazing God, you place before us today the challenges of laying aside the works of darkness and putting on the light of Christ; of loving each other so deeply that we work to reconcile and forgive, reflecting the mercy and grace you have extended to us.
Lord, we want to follow your lead, but it’s hard. Forgive us for the times our misunderstandings, preconceived notions, pride, or sheer exhaustion impede the essential work of loving and forgiving one another. Bind us together, and through your presence reveal your will to us, such that we are formed into your church: the living Body of Christ in the world. Amen

Hymn
Seek Ye First #405
Seek ye first the kingdom of God
 and his righteousness,
and all these things shall be added unto you. Allelu, alleluia!
Ask, and it shall be given unto you;
 seek and ye shall find;
Knock, and the door shall be opened unto you. Allelu, alleluia!

Hymn
Lord, Speak to Me
#463, v. 1, 2, 5
Lord, speak to me, that I may speak
 in living echoes of thy tone;
as thou has sought, so let me seek
 thine erring children lost and lone.

O strengthen me, that while I stand
 firm on the rock, and strong in thee,
I may stretch out a loving hand
 to wrestlers with the troubled sea.

O use me, Lord, use even me,
 just as thou wilt, and when, and where,
until thy blessed face I see,
 thy rest, thy joy, thy glory share.
