St. John's PTO
Be In The Know!
Hello and welcome to another school year at St. John's!

PTO will be communicating with families via constant contact emails on Fridays. Please be sure to look for them each week. Being the first communication, this will be longer than usual. Please read all the way to the end-we don't want you to miss ANYTHING!

Below is the calendar of events for the year, however, more may be added at a later time. A notice will follow when there are any changes to the calendar.

The PTO Board for the 2018-2019 school is:
President - Desiree Trapp
Vice President - Jen Spalla
Co-Treasurers - Mike and Lisa Wilson
Secretary - Vacant (Please contact Desiree if interested!)

Sticky Fingers Cooking begins next Thursday, September 6.

Sticky Fingers was a huge hit last year! Be sure to register before slots fill up! The class is age specific. Children have the opportunity to learn how to create foods that match their taste buds and culinary levels.

This session is for preschool and kindergarten students only.
Please do not register your child if they are not in those grade levels.
(The next session will be for 1st-4th grades and more info will follow.)

Half day preschoolers are welcome to come back to school for classes.
´╗┐All registrations and questions are handled directly by Sticky Fingers.
Hot Shots Sports begins Thursday, September 13.

Hot Shots Sports is an enrichment program that incorporates movement, sports and imaginative play to create a perfect environment to enhance the child's physical, mental, emotional and social development. This is our third year working with Hot Shots and couldn't be more thrilled to have them back!

This first session is for 1st-4th grade students only.
Register by Wednesday, September 12
Flying High Fundraisers

We will host three Flying High Nights this year!
September 29
December 21
February 7

These are open to the public, but the majority of the kids who come are from St. John's. Siblings, neighbors, other friends and family are welcome to attend with your child. It is a drop off event, but parents are welcome to stay in the viewing area. Look for information to come home next week!
There are a number of volunteer opportunities to be filled to make this a successful year. Please ask me how you can get involved.
Whether it's for one event or all, we welcome all the support and are grateful to have so many wonderful families who can contribute.
