"The stone was rolled away from the door,
not to permit Christ to come out,
but to enable the disciples to go in."
-Peter Marshall
NEW! Important Alert!

We have heard from several parishioners who have recently received a text message appearing to be from Fr. Little.  THIS IS A SCAM. PLEASE DISREGARD (DO NOT REPLY) AND BLOCK THE SENDER.  Unfortunately there is very little we can do to prevent these evil doers outside of informing you that Fr. Little, Fr. Barsness nor St. John’s will NEVER reach out to you in this manner asking for you to reply. Feel free to continue to report these into our office at welcome@stjohns-savage.org but most importantly do not answer these messages or follow through on their requests. If you have questions about a message you are receiving, please contact the parish office.

Celebrate God’s Gift of Mercy
Divine Mercy Sunday-April 19

This year we will celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday via livestream immediately following the 10am Mass. See the links below to learn more about the devotion of Divine Mercy. Our Lord gave St. Faustina the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and a 9 day Novena to prepare for this devotion. If possible, you should go to confession and pray this Novena of Chaplets beginning on Good Friday and continue for the nine days leading up to Divine Mercy Sunday.

Our Lord told St. Faustina “ By this novena, I will grant every possible grace to souls. Especially at the hour of death ” (Diary 796) (1224) “ Jesus, I Trust in You ” (327) “ I am Love and Mercy itself ”(1074)... Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet (699)... My Mercy is greater than your sins and those of the entire world (1485).
In addition to the links below, pamphlets to pray the Novena can be picked up inside the parish office using door 11 during open church hours.
