"Jesus said: I am the resurrection. Anyone who believes in me, even though that person dies, will live,"  - John 11:25
As I reflect on the celebration of Holy Week, the Holy Triduum, Easter, and now Divine Mercy Sunday, I continue to be in awe of just how much people are being moved by the celebration of sacraments while they watch on our live stream. So many of you have sent emails and notes of gratitude for all that we are doing. I say that I am in awe, because it seems to me that the simple celebration of the Mass is having an enormous impact. In essence, we are not doing anything more than what we always do, we just had to figure out a way to do it in front of a working camera and with a functioning microphone. This was certainly no easy task, and was one that required a great deal of trial, error, and work, but now that things seem to operate pretty well, it is clear that the most essential thing we do as a parish is enough for now. While it will be important someday soon to enter back into faith formation, volunteering, office work, more direct forms of evangelization and service of the poor, these things cannot practically be done in the same way. Therefore, we continue to celebrate the Mass and let the Lord lead the way.

Yours in Christ,
Father Ben Little

NEW! Celebrate God’s Gift of Mercy
Divine Mercy Sunday-April 19

This year we will celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday via livestream immediately following the 10AM Mass. The service, which includes the Divine Mercy Chaplet, Adoration, and Benediction, is expected to last until approximately 11:30PM. Afterward, you are welcome to come to the church for a drive through blessing from 12-1PM outside of door #10.

The procedure for this will follow the same protocol as palm pick up and similar to the drive through confessions. You can reference the map photo posted above for specific logistical procedures.

On May 2 at 7PM, we will join together “virtually” to share stories, support each other, and help make that greater difference. The evening will include virtual entertainment, FANTASTIC live auction items to bid on, and raising funds for not only our immediate St. John’s financial needs, but the needs of others in our Savage community.
