APRIL 27, 2020
“Do not abandon yourselves to despair. We are the Easter people and hallelujah is our song.” - St. John Paul II
Father Ben took some time to record a reflection this weekend for your enjoyment!
Are you planning to join us this Wednesday night for Pints with Priests?
Plan to join our priests, Father Ben and Father Michael for a drink and candid conversation with the topic, "Acedia & Technology" on Wednesday, April 29 at 6:30PM .

You might be wondering what acedia is. Acedia is a vice. It's also called sloth. It's like a heaviness from difficult circumstances; feeling overwhelmed, hopeless, discouraged, desolation, despair or disappointment. Sharing and learning about acedia and technology (how we are forced to live, work, communicate, and function these days) is extremely relevant.

Join this lively and interactive discussion using this link and feel free to chat in your comments or questions.
We hope that you will join your friends from St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and School in Savage MN for an evening that will put the FUN in fundraising! This virtual fundraiser via our  YouTube channel  this Saturday, May 2 at 7PM, promises to be a night of family fun or a great date night! Net proceeds from this event will benefit the church and school, the Sisters of Pro Ecclesia Sancta, and the surrounding community of Savage, MN.

Registration is simple! Just text  SJBcommunity  to  76278  or the link below to find out all of the details regarding participating in the commUNITY event.
