NEW! Returning to public Mass is something we have all been keeping in our prayers. Archbishop Hebda wanted to update the faithful in regards to the Mass reopening plans for our diocese. Please use the link below to read a letter from him and/or watch the video.

Join Father Little this week as he facilitates a conversation, using live Zoom technology to walk us through a video of a recent livestream Mass. He will add commentary along the way and pause to help answer our questions. This unique meeting offers you an opportunity to learn more about the rituals of Mass in an effort to increase our active participation. As a community, we will draw closer in our understanding of this sacred celebration of the worship of God.

WEEKEND CONFESSION
CONFESSION THIS WEEKEND!
Confession will again be offered in a drive-thru style this Saturday at 3:30PM outside the rectory. Cars are asked to enter the parking lot through the west and exit north.

Those receiving this sacrament are asked to be mindful of those around you to respect privacy and go one at a time. In addition, we encourage you to "be bold, be brief, and be gone!"
IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER
The Governor has put into place a "Stay Safe MN Order" effective May 18 through June 1. We will continue to provide updates via email periodically on any changes at St. John's. This is the best way to stay connected to parish liturgies and events. To get added to this list, please send an email to  welcome@stjohns-savage.org .

NEW! As the US Congress continues to discuss COVID-19 aid, the USCCB is asking us to contact our members of Congress to ask for emergency aid to Catholic schools and families. Requests include: equitable access to K12 federal funding for Catholic schools, direct funding to families for tuition aid and tax breaks for K12 tuition payments. We are pleased to bring the daily Mass into your home Monday-Friday each morning at 8AM. We are also happy to bring you Mass each weekend. On Sunday at 10AM we go live on our YouTube channel or using the link to your left. You can also find the weekend liturgy guide under resources on our website HERE .

SUMMER KIDS CARE REGISTRATION

Summer Kids Care provides care for students from all districts. Parents have many options when choosing our summer care program. Parents may choose full-day or half-day options and may choose their days of the week as well. Kids Care’s mission is to offer parents who work or go to school a Christian, caring, safe, supervised, recreational, and enriching environment for their school-age children.

The Summer Kids Care program begins on June 8 and runs through August 28 (close July 3). We ask that families commit to a schedule (minimum of two days per week) so that we can staff the program appropriately. The summer options are listed below:
Full day = $38/day
Half day = $20/AM or PM half day session
Drop in Full day = $45/day
Drop in half day = $25/AM or PM half day session

FINANCIAL WAYS TO GIVE
Envelopes:  
If you currently use envelopes provided by St. John’s, those can be mailed to the church. Contributions can be mailed in any manner even if you do not have the envelopes we provide. You can also drop off your envelope during building open hours (M-F from 9AM-6PM) through door #11.

If you’d like to register to give in this manner (either with an on-going contribution or one time gift), or make a change to your existing gift, please click   here .

Electronic and traditional givers accustomed to texting can now give through text giving as well. Make one-time or recurring offerings by simply texting the amount you wish to give to our secure account at 833-351-0063. It's a convenient solution when you can't attend services or don't have cash or checks with you. *A minimum $5.00 donation is needed.
