"Exploring Engineering"
Mad Science - Interactive Online Stem Program
Mad Science is offering a 12 week online, virtual version of their extracurricular science programs for
St. Joseph students in
Kindergarten - 5th grades beginning on February 3, 2021.
Classes are from 4:30 -5:30 pm.

Note: This program might not be appropriate for students enrolled in SJCS EDP.

The official 'front entrance' to our school is looking spiffy! However, these doors remain locked due to COVID-19 restrictions. If you have a need to enter the St. Joseph campus, you must enter through the doors between this entrance and the entrance to the narthex. Thank you!

Virtue of the Month for January
Virtues in Practice - 'Year of Faith'
Virtue of the Month:
Gratitude: seeing everything as a gift and being thankful

SaiWhen we receive gifts from others, we respond by saying, "Thank you!" To have the virtue of gratitude means to always have a "thank you" in your heart, especially to God, Who has given us the gift of life.
Saint of the Month for Kindergarten - 2nd grade
Virtues in Practice - 'Year of Faith'
Saint of the Month:
Saint Francis of Assisi
(1181-1226, Italy)
Feast: October 4

Saint Francis was born into a wealthy family but gave up everything he had to follow God. Saint Francis was so thankful to God for all that He had created that he wrote songs about the sun and the moon, the plants and the animals, and all of creation. He taught others to see everything as God's gifts.

Weekly Health Survey

Parents - As you know, we need your assistance, diligence and compliance with the completion of a weekly health survey for each of your St. Joseph students!

Your child's teacher will send home the health survey form each Friday in Friday folders or backpacks. The same form will be used for four weeks of a month. Please make sure that you complete your child's health form each Sunday and return it to school. Your child's homeroom teacher will collect the forms first thing on Monday morning!
