Caroline Mansour
            
Valedictorian Caroline Mansour is the daughter of Drs. Michael and Kathleen Mansour, granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Mansour, Sr. of Greenville and Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Maher of Pennsylvania.  Her sisters, Emily and Jennifer, and brother, Michael, all attend St. Joseph Catholic School.  Caroline is an honor graduate, a member of Mu Alpha Theta, Mississippi Scholar, STAR Student, Delta Council Honor Student, SJS Who's Who "Most Likely to Succeed", Student Government Association President, SJS Ambassador, President Obama's Volunteer Service Award recipient and the Chuck Early Humanitarian Award recipient.  Caroline received over $134,000 in scholarships and will attend Columbia University in New York City, NY this fall.
Salutatorian
Reya Marie Hayek
  
  Salutatorian Reya Marie Hayek is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Maroun Hayek, granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elie Hayek and Mrs. Marie Antoinette Khoury and the late Sami Khoury.  Her sister Sarah attends
St. Joseph Catholic High School.  Reya is an honor graduate, a member of Mu Alpha Theta, Mississippi Scholar, Delta Council Honor Student, a Fireside Essay Finalist, MHSAA Lindy Callahan recipient, Wendy's High School Heisman school nominee, Senior Class Treasurer, two time 1A State Tennis Champion, 2013 Girls Doubles and 2014 Team.  Reya received over $103,000 in scholarships and will attend Millsaps College in Jackson, MS this fall.

2014 St. Joseph High School Graduates

St. Joseph Catholic High School Commencement exercises were held May 22, 2014, at St. Joseph Catholic High School. Earlier the Baccalaureate was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church.  The Most Reverend, Bishop Joseph R. Kopacz the keynote speaker for the evening's ceremonies delivered a message to the graduates of always being prepared, "to accept not only what was around the corner in life, but also to turn that corner with confidence."

 

Fifteen seniors, including Mansour and Hayek were recognized as honor graduates. This distinguished honor recognizes students maintaining a four year cumulative 4.0 GPA average. These students are Christian Strack Azar, Madelynn Raine Bunker, Karmen LaKiki Butler, Anthony Ray DiBiase, Eric Lynden Gardiner, Drewonna Goldsmith, Benjamin Chris Luckett, Maya Analise Maddox, Devonte Tremaine McPherson, Hannah Jade Mixon, Alyson Nicole Rushing, Daniel James Steritz and Caleh Elaine Trexler.

 

$1.7 million in scholarships were offered to the 2014 Senior Class of St. Joseph Catholic High School. Students will be attending Universities across the nation including Chapman University, Columbia University, Delta State University, Millsaps College, Mississippi State University, Mississippi University for Women, The University of Mississippi and the University of Southern Mississippi.
