St. Joseph's Regional Jr. High School
News & Notes ~ Week of December 15, 2019

A direct and compelling headline
Week 3 of Advent - Joy
In this third week our Advent prayer service will be on Monday morning. Our focus will be attending to the joy. Joy is the emotion we choose when we could choose to be fearful, doubtful. We can choose to live in an attitude of resentment, anger and fear or we can choose to pursue the joy of Christ. We can choose to be joyful in the simplicity and purity of the season.
“And we have heard the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts” (2 Peter 1:19). The third candle is said to represent joy and the proclamations regarding the coming Savior.
May you all have a joyous and blessed holidays.
Peace,
~ Dawn
St. Joseph's Loves the Arts!
Our St. Joseph Regional Jr. High School Band played proudly at Trinity High School this week on Thursday evening. Though they are only four strong, these students are dedicated musicians, and with the guidance of Mr. Jenkins, our band teacher, they played proudly. Thank you all for supporting them. We hope to grow this important part of our St. Joseph community.

In addition, we enjoyed the whimsical and enchanting production of A Christmas Carol at the Palace Theater. I can't say enough great things about the performance, costumes, music, and our students. This historic theater and story did not disappoint and though I've seen it countless times, each cast represents the story in a new way. Parents, you should be proud of your kids. They were dressed well, composed, kind, thanked the bus driver and ushers (on their own) and it was an absolute joy to take them. Thank you for supporting this festive trip.

Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"
