The St. Louis Public Schools (SLPS) District named Gateway to the Great Outdoors (GGO) as the 2023 SLPS Community Partner of the Year. We are so honored and humbled to receive this meaningful award. The idea of GGO was conceived in 2015, when SLPS was unaccredited. Since then we have been working with SLPS to empower our students to become leaders, scientists, outdoor enthusiasts, environmentalists, and community members. I could not imagine an award more meaningful to GGO’s history and mission and we are so grateful for our partnership with SLPS.
