What the Association is Doing to Keep You Safe
As business begin to reopen when will be know if it was too soon? Many offices in the region have instituted changes in hours certain people work together in the office to try to reduce the number of employees in one place. Many companies are closing and or restricting the number of people common areas in offices such as breakrooms and water coolers. 

The Association is taking extra measures to ensure all visitors have a sense of security when they enter the building. The following preparations will be taken in preparation for reopening.

  • Plexiglass sneeze guards have been installed in public areas.
  • Interior of the facility are being disinfected regularly.
  • Exterior entry points are being disinfected regularly.
  • Hand sanitizer stations have been placed throughout the building.
  • Clorox wipes and disinfectant spray have been stocked.
  • Face coverings and gloves will be provided upon request.

The Broker expiration date has been extended from June 30 to August 31

The Salesperson expiration date has been extended from September 30 to October 31

NAR Case Study - Repurposing Vacant Retail Malls
In past years, many brick-and-mortar retail stores have closed due to intense competition from the phenomenal increase in e-commerce sales. Even before the coronavirus pandemic dealt a heavy blow to the US economy, brick and mortar retail stores were already suffering from the inroads of e-commerce.

REALTORS ® Win at the Ballot Box in Municipal Election
Two St. Louis REALTORS ® members, Crestwood Mayor Grant Mabie and St. Peters Alderwoman Melissa Reimer, were reelected in the June Municipal Election. St. Louis REALTORS ® also advocated for homeowners and property rights by opposing Proposition R in Bel-Nor (a new fee on rental homes) and supported Proposition S in Bel-Nor (an expansion of their sewer lateral insurance program). Both of these propositions passed last week, giving the REALTOR ® Party one more win with the passage of Prop S.
New RPAC Fundraising Plan for 2020
In an effort to keep our membership safe and healthy, we have cancelled the RPAC Dinner Auction and have replaced it with a new virtual summer Un-Gala and online auction scheduled on July 23. The newly revitalized 2020 RPAC Fundraising Plan ensures you will have ample opportunity to participate in RPAC events that are socially flexible and invest in your business! Keep a look out for these opportunities that will surely lift your RPAC spirits.
