Dear St. Louis School Families,

We each can make a difference in the lives of our students both now and in the future by advancing the mission of strong Catholic faith formation and academic excellence at St. Louis School. Through our Annual Fund drive, your gifts of financial support and prayer help to make up the 15% gap in operating expenses that tuition alone does not cover. The Annual Fund provides funding for facility repairs and improvements, technology upgrades and tuition assistance.

We are excited to launch this year's campaign today!

Celebrating our 66th Anniversary, we invite you to take a road trip with us on “St. Louis 66” with a destination goal of $90,000. There will be a few traditional stops along the way – Giving Tuesday, Christmas Lights Tour and the Participation Challenge to name a few – and some road trip games sprinkled in. We are confident with your support we will achieve our goal and have a little fun along the way.

Hop in and take a ride with us!

Your gift today will help your child’s class advance in the participation challenge and will most importantly, help us achieve our 2022-23 Annual Fund goal.

Gifts may be given in one of 3 ways:

  1. PayPal Giving Fund - Convenient online payment option. No transaction fees - St. Louis receives 100% of your donation.
  2. Check, Cash or Prayer – Download a pledge card and submit it and your donation or gift of prayer directly to the school.
  3. Faith Direct - Code: VA141 Set up a recurring monthly gift. Small incremental gifts add up big!

As always, each school family’s pledge card counts as a participation point for each homeroom their children represent. There is no need to send in multiple pledge cards. For example, if you have 3 children enrolled at St. Louis, 1 pledge card from your household will be equal points for each child’s homeroom.

Families that have already donated in this campaign year (since July 1, 2022) have already been credited a participation point for their child(ren)’s class(es).

Road to March Madness

This year’s participation challenge kicks off NOW. With a “March Madness” theme, K-8 homeroom teams will compete with one another to advance in the challenge tournament to be held during the month of March. To get there, our “Excellent 18” must begin accumulating participation points for their team. Points are calculated by the number of pledge cards submitted from family, friends and alumni on behalf of a student.

As a much-anticipated annual event, the Participation Challenge encourages 100% participation of all school families, faculty and staff through donations or the gift of prayer. Although the challenge accounts for nearly 50% of revenue raised for the Annual Fund, participation is measured by the number of families who return their pledge card, not by the amount raised. A pledge card with a gift of prayer holds the same value as a pledge card with a donation. Regardless of the outcome, the enthusiasm and school spirit produced from this friendly competition is unmatched. Updates on class standings will be provided monthly from now through February and will increase in frequency during the month of March.

START EARNING POINTS!

  • Pledge card from current school parents (1 per household) = 1 point.
  • Pledge cards from extended family & friends = 2 points each.
  • Pledge cards from alumni = 3 points each.
  • Double the value of your pledge card with an employer-sponsored matching gift.
  • Don’t forget, anyone can add the gift of prayer to their donation for an extra point!

The goal for each homeroom is to earn as many points possible for their team between now and March 10, 2023. With our record-holding Class of 2022 graduated, this year’s Participation Challenge is anyone’s game!

What's a road trip without sites to see?

The Annual Fund campaign progress will be measured by mile markers along “St. Louis 66.” If you are interested in putting a little gas into our campaign, rest stops, roadside attractions, billboards, and exits are available for sponsorships and may unlock a matching gift when passed or advertise a donated prize for the Participation Challenge. The possibilities are endless, and we are happy to work with you to recognize your support of St. Louis School.
