St. Louis Catholic School Alumni Newsletter
Greetings from Your Elementary School Alma Mater!
FALL 2019
Dear St. Louis Alumni,

In this month of gratitude, I am so grateful for this opportunity to connect with our St. Louis Alumni and to be able to share with each of you the many wonderful ways we are working to help our students “Grow in Christ.” This year we focus on fostering a culture of positivity, so our students grow in love, mercy, kindness, respect, and faith and understand that when they exhibit these virtues, they are truly Christ for one another. In addition to providing a strong faith-filled experience, students at St. Louis are presented with multiple ways to grow in academic excellence. The rigor of our diocesan curriculum and the hard work of our faculty and staff allows each student to become successful learners. I am particularly proud that St. Louis offers this experience to “Grow in Christ” to every child of God. Our academic program is truly inclusive of all learners and our school classrooms and hallways are truly special places to be!

If you haven’t had the chance to come back to St. Louis School recently, I hope you come by for a visit! Consider joining us for a school Mass any Friday morning at 8:45am and then stop by the school office for a tour, I am always happy to share how our school continues to grow and reminisce with you.

Please pray for our students, our teachers, and staff as we all work together to continue the tradition of maintaining a vibrant, thriving, faith-filled place to learn and grow as we celebrate all God’s blessings now in this month of giving thanks and in the upcoming Advent season.

Blessings to all of you,
Anne M. Dyke

Annual Fund - Giving Tuesday - Dec. 3rd
This year with our spiritual theme #GrowingInChrist, our Annual Fund is focused on growing our play spaces while continuing our commitment to growing our academic instructional tools and increasing tuition assistance to families. Through the generosity of our St. Louis alumni, school families and greater community, we can update the play areas to be more inclusive and ADA compliant so that all our students can benefit from the outside play spaces. The opportunity to enhance the existing play equipment while adding newer pieces that encourage creativity and innovative play will generate fun for everyone.
On December 3rd, please consider a gift to the St. Louis School Annual Fund. Our goal for the day is set at $10,000 to jumpstart our campaign and put us on track for meeting our ultimate $75,000 goal. This year's funds will go toward an innovative and inclusive play space for ALL children.

*PayPal will add 1% to every gift given between Dec. 3 - 31.
Got LEGOs?
While we raise funds for our play space, St. Louis students are joining in the giving spirit and collecting pre-loved LEGO bricks for the LEGO Replay project to help build up play spaces for children through Teach for America and Boys & Girls Clubs.

Our collection boxes are ready for your bricks! Donations may be dropped off in the school office November 18 - December 6.
