Reminder! 2020-21 Re-Registration Due March 2nd
Re-registration forms and fees for the 2020-21 school year are due by Monday, March 2nd. You can find a copy of our re-registration letter and form attached.

FINANCIAL AID

Ash Wednesday Mass - Mass Uniforms (No PE Uniforms)
Students are reminded to wear their Mass uniforms, on Wednesday, Feb. 26th for Ash Wednesday Mass. NO PE UNIFORMS. Students who have PE on Wednesdays may wear their sneakers with their uniform.
"40 Days, 40 Acts" Lenten Social Media Campaign
Lent is a time for prayer, fasting and giving. From Ash Wednesday until Easter Sunday, we will be sharing acts of giving and kindness from our classrooms and our families as part of our Lenten social media campaign.
Send your photo and a brief description of your act of giving or kindness to development@stlouisschool.org between now and April 7th. For ideas on acts of kindness for you and your family, click here .

Purple Up! Sock Orders Due February 29th
April is the "Month of the Military Child." As a Purple Star school, St. Louis students will be celebrating our military families with the option to wear purple uniform approved socks on their PE days during the month of April. Socks are crew elite athletic socks customized for St. Louis School. These will be the only purple socks that can be worn with the PE uniform. All proceeds will benefit Operation Gratitude.

Socks must be pre-ordered online by February 29th.

Auction Weekend Has Arrived!
We look forward to seeing you at this annual adult event. There are still a few tickets left if your weekend plans have changed. The auction committee has planned a wonderful meal with great entertainment and an opportunity to enjoy one another’s friendship as we raise money for our wonderful school. If you have any questions, please contact Meredith Jors, Auction Chair at hawktion.chair@gmail.com . Thank you very much for all your donations, the auction committee couldn’t have pulled this off without you giving of your time & talents! Let’s enjoy this Road Trip!! 

Extracurricular Activities & CYO
Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole Registration
Girls on the Run and Heart and Sole are coming back to St. Louis School this spring so make sure you register your daughters soon! We begin practice the first week of March. GOTR is for 4th and 5th grade girls and will meet on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Heart and Sole is for 6th-8th grade girls. Please sign up at the link provided. If you have any questions about GOTR, please send an e-mail to Ms. Balough at  sbalough@stlouisschool.org, and if you have questions about Heart and Sole, please e-mail Mrs. Cotnoir at  jcotnoir@stlouisschool.org . Scholarships are available if financial assistance is needed.

Bishop Ireton Summer Camps
Bishop Ireton High School (201 Cambridge Rd., Alexandria, VA 22314) will be offering athletic and theater summer camps starting in June 2020. These dynamic and fun camps are taught by Bishop Ireton teachers, coaches and current students and are for students in 3rd grade through high school. Registration is open now. Space is limited. Please visit  www.bishopireton.org/summercamps  for more information and to register. Sherlock Holmes
Come see 8th grader Josie McCabe and 7th grader Julie Dunn in MVCCT’s performances of Sherlock Holmes. This funny and suspenseful play will run for 5 shows – 7pm on Saturday Feb. 15, 21 and 22 and 3pm on Sunday Feb. 16 and 23. All shows are at Heritage Presbyterian Church on Fort Hunt Road. Tickets can be purchased ahead of time online at  www.mvcct.org  or at the door. The game’s afoot – don’t miss it!
