"St. Louis Kids Serve Too" Social Media Campaign
April is the “Month of the Military Child.” There are 1.2 million military children of active duty members worldwide. As a Purple Star school, we are honored to call some of them our friends and classmates at St. Louis. During the month of April, we would like to run a special “St. Louis Kids Serve Too” social media campaign that recognizes the military families in our St. Louis School community. If your family would like to participate, please share a photo and the following information:
  • Military branch
  • Number of places lived (locations optional)
  • Number of schools children have attended
  • “Why did you choose St. Louis School?” or “What makes St. Louis School
  • special for your family?”
  • Please let us know if we may use your family’s last name in the post, or if you would prefer to be “anonymous”
 Questions? Please contact Kristin Matheis,

Purple Sock Order Delayed - Due to COVID-19 closures, our purple sock manufacturer is closed until April 13 and is unable to ship our socks. When they do come in, we will schedule curb-side pick up and a virtual purple sock day to honor our friends!

40 Days, 40 Acts
Social distancing doesn't mean that we can't continue to participate in acts of kindness and giving this Lenten season. Look for other ways that you can extend yourself to others...helping a neighbor with yardwork, putting together care packages or simply a card or phone call to check in, older siblings helping out younger with school work, etc. We're still collecting photos and will be posting to social media throughout Lent. Send us your photos of acts of kindness and giving to .
