Open Houses for Prospective Families
November 17 & 19
St. Louis will be welcoming prospective families to visit our wonderful school on Sunday, November 17, 10am-1pm and Tuesday, November 19, 9-11am. K-8 Applications are available on our website and will be accepted beginning November 17th. Please share this information with family and friends who may be interested in sending their children to St. Louis.
On December 3rd, please consider a gift to the St. Louis School Annual Fund. A $30 gift from every school family will allow us to reach our Giving Tuesday goal of $10,000 to jumpstart the campaign. This year's funds will go toward an innovative and inclusive play space for ALL children.

*PayPal will add 1% to every gift given between Dec. 3 - 31.
As we raise funds this year for our own play spaces and ask parents to remember the Annual Fund on Giving Tuesday, it is only fitting that we encourage our students to also join in the giving spirit as they “grow in Christ.” From Nov. 18 - Dec. 6, St. Louis students will collect pre-loved LEGO bricks for the LEGO Replay project. The LEGO Replay project was selected because it offers an opportunity for a small, but relatable, act of kindness. Students can give from their own collection to children in need. Give 1 brick, 10 or 100 - the donation is totally up to the child. They don’t need to be full sets. Students can place whatever bricks  THEY  would like to donate in the collection box in their homeroom. Please see the flyer for more information.

Extracurricular Activities & CYO
CYO Mandatory Basketball Parent Meeting
The Diocese of Arlington requires that at least one parent of EVERY basketball player attend a MANDATORY meeting at their parish in advance of the start of the season. Even if you attended this meeting last year, you MUST attend again this year. We will be hosting three sessions in the cafeteria: Tuesday, Nov. 19th and Thursday, Nov. 21st at 7 pm, and Saturday, Nov. 23rd at 9 am. If you absolutely cannot attend any of these meetings, please contact Judy Conti, jconti@nelp.org .
Parish & Community
Boy Scout Christmas Wreaths
St. Louis troop 680 will be selling fresh, fragrant wreaths and centerpieces for $20-30 on Dec. 1, 8 and 15 before and after the 8:45am, 10:30am and 12:20pm Masses at the Bell Tower. Don't delay; we sold out early last year! Decorate your home and support a worthy cause.
Tickets on Sale for MVCCT's Matilda
The upcoming the upcoming Mt. Vernon Children’s Community Theater production of Matilda will feature performances from three St. Louis students –6th graders Isaac Nienaber and Katie Dunn along with 8th grader Isabella Spooner. This show is funny, fast paced, and family friendly. While all the shows of this run will be great, there is a group of St. Louis families who will be attending the November 16th show at 7pm. You can buy your tickets online. If you decide to attend the November 16th show, there is a section called “Special Seating Needs” with a text box. In that box, please write “St. Louis group” and the MVCCT staff will do their best to seat us in a group if you put that in the box.
