The Help the Homeless Mini-Walk will be held on Thursday, October 17 at 10:00am. The walk is a fundraiser as well as a prayer exercise. Funds raised are for United Community (formerly United Community Ministries). UC works in the local area helping those that are vulnerable, as Pope Francis would say. They help the homeless, but also have a food bank, job training service, help with bill payment and have a thrift shop.
All donations are tax deductible. Please make checks payable to United Community. For additional information, please see the attached flyer .
