Weekly Prayer Intentions
Each day our school community prays for the intentions of our families. This week the following families were included in our prayers: Crenshaw, Criado, Crooker, Cross, Crutchfield, Cruz, Cunningham (8th), Cunningham (1st and 8th), and Curry.

It's Book Fair Time!
Come support the school, find great books, and help to grow a love of reading in your kids! Books make great gifts. You can even choose a book for your child’s classroom or for the school library.

Extracurricular Activities & CYO
CYO Basketball Season
It’s time to start putting together our basketball teams for the season. Practices will begin the week of November 4th and games begin on December 7th. If your child is interested in playing, please consult this flyer and contact the appropriate coaches for more information.  It’s never too late to get started, so even if your child has never played before, if s/he is interested in playing, please don’t hesitate to sign him/her up! Registration will close at midnight on Friday, Oct 25th.
Odyssey of the Mind
Come join us for Odyssey of the Mind! Students in all grade levels are welcome as we take this “creative problem solving” adventure. We’re looking for students who are interested in building and engineering, theater and arts, history and poetry, having fun, and being part of a great team. You will have a chance to work with a team of peers and participate in the regional competition. Contact Lauren McCarthy ( ) for more information or to register.

IMPORTANT MEETING - Route 1 Widening Project
The Fairfax County Department of Transportation will present information regarding the widening of Route 1 and the $1 billion dollar project which impacts St. Louis Parish/School and the local community. (See map to right.) Plan to attend and spread the word to your neighbors! All residents of the area are invited! Be informed and let your voices be heard! St. Louis School Gym - Thur, Oct 24, at 7pm.  Forward this message!
