A Message from the Principal...
Dear St. Louis Families,
President's Holiday Weekend is here! It was nice to be able to have a full day of school today in light of the inclement weather delays and closures. Next week is a short one due to the Monday holiday, but it will not be without focus on taking care of each other. It is Random Acts of Kindness Week, and while it seems funny to “prep” for being random, we also need to learn the many simple ways that we can show kindness to our neighbor and community. I am grateful to Mrs. Cotnoir for helping to organize some simple acts of kindness that will happen throughout next week! What won’t be random at all is holding a code red drill - Code Red is our signal for lock down within the classroom in case of an emergency onsite. The drill will be held one day next week, and we will prepare the students beforehand so that they are part of the process. In talking of safety, this is a great opportunity to thank the many families who have already contributed to our annual fund – your donation will help to fund the replacement of original doors and door locks for updated classroom security. We continue our drive into the Spring!
The Silent Auction is coming, and the auction team has been working hard to organize a fantastic night of fun in addition to fundraising for the PTO! If you can’t be there, you can join in spirit by taking a chance on the trip to NYC through the auction raffle. And if you don’t win a trip to NYC, you will get a taste of it through our Spring musical,  Annie Jr ., which will be here before you know it!
