Staff Updates
It is the time of year I talk to teachers and staff to see what their plans are for next year. After the last couple of weeks, I have 5 teachers/staff that will be departing due to retirement or relocation.
With their permission, I would like to announce the retirements of the following teachers: Mrs. Mary Herridge, Mr. Jeff Glaser, Mrs. Cathy Woods, and Mrs. Terry LaRussa Banton. Below is a little message from each of them:
Mary Herridge: After over 40 years at St. Louise, I will be retiring at the end of the school year. I am so grateful for all this community has been for me and for my family and I can’t simply walk away! I plan to be a substitute teacher and serve in other ways as appropriate during a big transition period for the school and parish. I also plan to travel, organize my home, and spend time with those for whom I haven’t had time during busy school years. St. Louise has helped shaped my life and I will always hold this community in my heart. – Mary Herridge
Jeff Glaser: After being at St. Louise for over 20 years and in the teaching profession for over 30, I have decided that this year will be my last year at St. Louise as I have decided to retire. I plan to travel in the near future, and I thank the St. Louise Community for all the support through the years. God Bless! – Jeff Glaser
Cathy Woods: After much prayer and contemplation, I have made the difficult decision to retire from teaching. I am very grateful for the five years I have taught at St. Louise. Our community: parents, staff, and students, have truly made this “home” for me. Thank you for your support, friendship, and generosity! I am truly blessed to be part of the St. Louise family! With a grateful heart, Cathy Woods
Terry LB: After numerous years of teaching in other schools and St. Louise, I have decided to retire from teaching. I am grateful for all the support of music and theater at St. Louise through the years. Thank you! – Mrs. Terry LB
I would like to also announce that Mr. Alex Gallant will not be returning as well, please see his letter below:
Alex Gallant: Due to amazing life circumstances, I will be relocating out of state this summer. As a result, this school year will be my final one at St. Louise. This community took a chance on me eight years ago for my first teaching job, and I will be forever grateful for the memories made along the way. I have grown so much as an educator and person thanks to the support and care of those around me each and every day here at school. Thank you for everything. I wish you all the very best both during the rest of this school year and wherever life leads down the road. - Alex Gallant
Have a Blessed Weekend,
Mr. Fuerte
