It’s been a few months since you last heard from us about Compassion Sunday, but we have some exciting updates to share with you about the global impact of Compassion Sunday!
How awesome is that?!

We hope that these numbers remind you that you took part in something big. You lifted up your voice and your heart alongside so many others to make sure that more children are released from poverty in Jesus’ name.
There definitely seems to be a bit of shift in things around Ohio, and I wanted to share some updates for you as we all begin to take some more incremental steps back to what will be our new normal.
Faith Mission
Community Kitchen: At this time, we are still not able to open the community kitchen. There are still guidelines in place that require extra physical distancing within the shelter. Unfortunately, this space includes the dining room of the Community Kitchen.

You can support the work of Faith Mission by creating a Welcome Home Kit. Click here for more information.
Food Pantries
We are happy to announce that beginning July 1 we will be able to provide full choice back to our clients. During the past year, we had to go to a prepacked box of food that was the same for every family. Earlier this spring we began to have partial choice, in addition to basics bags. Beginning in July we will be transitioning back to full choice. For those who have been collecting and assembling basic bags, we will continue to receive and use them through the end of July. It is a great thing for clients to once again have full control over what they are receiving.
We are committed to using an abundance of caution and intend to keep our COVID-19 protocols universal across programs. At this time, staff and volunteers will continue to wear masks when in public spaces while indoor at program sites.
At outdoor volunteer sites, masks for staff/volunteers will be optional (regardless of vaccination status) when social distance can be maintained.
We do have volunteer opportunities available across our programs, you can find out more information on these opportunities here: https://lss.vomo.org/
Thank you for all your support!

We’ve waited for it all year—the weather has warmed up, the pools are beginning to open, and school is finally out. All that can only mean one thing: Summer is here! So, how do you keep your kids engaged and active—both mentally and physically—over the next few months? We have ideas!
Our values define who we are and what makes us unique from other Christian churches in Columbus. We hope you will contribute to this process by answering three important questions. Click the links below to answer the first two questions. This is the last week we will be accepting responses to these three questions.

Attend One • Serve One
There are numerous ways you can support our time together in worship each week. Currently, we are looking for help to prepare the altar and communion (often referred to as the Altar Guild), support our live
stream services through online hosting or production, editing video, and controlling the sound system and slides - especially for traditional worship.

Available for Apple and Android Devices
Church Center is a mobile app and web experience where you can explore, engage, and get involved throughout the week. Click here to watch an instructional video to set up the app.
