"Meeting With God" Healing Services

Friday, March 7th, at 7:00 PM St. Luke’s invites everyone to our second ‘Meeting with God’ healing service.

This will be a time of worship, moving in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, testimonies, sharing Christ's love and power to heal, and then ministry to those seeking God's healing touch.

Celebration of Life Service for Don Auerbach

This Saturday, March 8th, we will celebrate the life and home going of our brother, Don Auerbach, who went to be with Jesus in February.

Visitation will be from 12:00-1:30 PM, and the memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM here in the sanctuary.

Please keep the Auerbach family in your prayers.

Adult Formation After Church

"Understanding Sacraments"

Join us for 5 weeks during Lent starting on Sunday, March 9th, after the worship service (and after you have a chance to get lunch in the cafe).

We will offer an adult formation hour to learn about the sacraments of the church; what they are and what they mean. Join us as we grow in faith and understanding as we explore "outward and visible signs of inward and spiritual graces."

At Easter we decorate our altar with lilies as a symbol of rebirth and hope.

If you would like to purchase Easter Lilies in remembrance or in honor of someone in your life, please place a check for $24 in the offering plate with “Memorial for (name)” in the memo or contact Jim Fulton.

Your memorial will be displayed on Easter Sunday, listed in the bulletin, and you can take your memorial lily home after the service. Please submit your memorial request by Sunday, April 6th.

MomCo is a non-profit organization that encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women, and leaders, in relationship with Jesus and in partnership with the local church.

Our next Copley MomCo (formerly MOPS) meetings at St. Luke's will be on Wednesday, March 12th, and Wednesday, March 26th, from 9:30-11:30 AM. (Childcare is provided.)

For more information, contact Rev. Joy Unger.

Our next Men’s Breakfast will be on Saturday, March 22nd.

All men are invited for a time of fellowship, good food, and a challenging and encouraging message.

This is an opportunity to support one another as we walk together in Christ, so invite your fathers, your sons, and your friends. Breakfast begins in the Harbor at 8:30 AM.

We are in need of small groups, Life Groups, friends, and individuals willing to sign up to provide and serve lunch in our Café Sundays after the service.

Please sign up on the clipboard found in the Café.

St. Luke's is a source of help and blessing to people facing difficult situations. Meeting their needs and providing comfort and prayer to those affected. We have been blessed to be a blessing in our tithe, our time, and our talents.

To help meet the many needs of our body, our community, and beyond, the first week of each month, any loose cash or change in the offering will be designated for the Rector's Benevolence Fund.

Checks with "Parish Benevolence" or "Rector's Benevolence" noted in the memo sections will also be added to each specific Benevolence fund. Thank you for your generousity and caring.

"The Reason for God"

Conversations on Faith and Life

Beginning Sunday after Easter, April 27th, and continuing for 6 sessions over 9 weeks, we invite you to learn how to speak with people in our culture who share the common objections to the Christian faith.

This video series responds to the questions of open skeptics and ardent believers, draws from literature, philosophy, reason, and real-life conversations to explain how faith in a Christian God is a sound and rational belief.

In six video sessions we will watch and listen as Pastor Timothy Keller and six panelists hold candid and unscripted discussions about the broad scope of people's discomforts with God, the Bible, and Christianity in general.

We will be challenged to wrestle with our friends' and neighbors' hardest questions and engage those questions in ways that will spark honest, enriching, and humbling dialogue.

Each session in this teaching series will be held after the worship service in the Sanctaury, beginning at 12:30 PM.

Alpha Marriage Course

Is it time for a tune up? Just like every car, every marriage needs some attention to help keep the blessings coming for the long haul.

After Easter, on Friday evenings, we will offer the Alpha Marriage Course. We'll begin at 6:30 PM with dinner and together we'll watch a video presentation and then have time to privately discuss some questions that will help us curate better habits and clearer communication in our marriage.

Mark your calendar starting on May 2nd and running for seven weeks. Childcare will be provided.
