Anglican: Biblical and Historic Roots and the Anglican Way of Doing Life Together in Christ

Our Anglican Communion is the third largest Christian body worldwide, tracing its roots back through the Reformation to the New Testament Apostolic Church.

This Sunday is the final session in a seven part series refreshing our understanding of all things Anglican: the history, heritage, and Anglican way of being Christ’s Church.

It will be a refresher course for long-time members, as well as informative teaching for newcomers to St. Luke’s, and preparation for those becoming confirmed members of our Church. And there will be an opportunity to ask your questions for all.

After coffee and a bite to eat in the Café, we’ll meet in the sanctuary for 90 minutes of teaching, conversation, and answering questions.

Did you know...

Take a moment this month and show you're appreciation for the men and women God has placed as leaders, mentors, and friends among us.

St. Luke's Directory Update

If you missed the opportunity to have a new picture taken for the upcoming directory, do not fret. Now through November 12th, you can submit pictures of your own to be used in the new directory. Contact Jim Fulton for details and file requirements.

You will also soon be receiving an email to confirm the accuracy of your contact information and request adding you and your family to the St. Luke's app, newsletter, or text notification chain.

COME JOIN US IN SUPPORTING THE KIDS IN OUR COMMUNITY

Copley Outreach Center has partnered with the students of Copley Middle School and the Copley PTA's to raise money to provide nourishing food for our students in the Copley-Fairlawn Cares BackPack Program and the Kids Summer Program.

They are inviting us to join them at the 2nd annual Empty Bowl Project, where we will generously come together to dine with a comforting meal of pasta, salad and bread. Attendees will have the opportunity to take home a special ceramic bowl made by students at the Copley-Fairlawn Middle School, as well as some local artists.

Through the generosity of people like you, our goal is to be able to say that no one in our community will ever go hungry.
