Small Groups at St. Luke's

Why?

We want to offer the people at St Luke’s opportunities to connect with each other and develop genuine, vulnerable community. It is that kind of a setting where we can know others and be known and grow more in our walk with Jesus.

What?

Small groups would consist of roughly 8-12 people, organized based on a combination of region and availability. When possible, groups will include some diversity in age/stage of life so that members can hear from other perspectives.

Groups would use some of their time to simply spend time together and get to know each other, but the groups would also be supplied with topics or content for conversation. This could be anything from the sermon from the prior week to texts for the upcoming Sunday, to chapters from a book (such as The Common Rule).

The deadline to sign up is November 27th so we can coordinate groups, hosts, and leaders for a January start.

Election Day  is coming on Tuesday, November 8th.

It is fitting and proper to lift this important event up to the Lord, that His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven.

You are invited to come on Sunday, November 6th at 5:30 PM in the Common Room on the Lower Level for a time of worship.

And at 6:00 PM, for a livestream with Tim Sheets and others across this Nation in prayer for our local elections and those across this land.

This is not about any political party or about any candidates.

This is about shifting this nation back into alignment with God's Kingdom and releasing the revival of King Jesus.

"We do hereby dedicate this land, and ourselves, to reach the People within these shores with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to raise up Godly generations after us." - Robert Hunt, Jamestown VA, 1607

Our Covenant proclamation is dedicating America to the Lord.

This is His land and He will not forsake us.
