The cost will be $70 per player for golf, prizes, and lunch following at St. Luke's. If a spouse wishes to attend lunch but doesn't play golf, lunch is $10. For the non-golfers, you can sponsor a golfer, sponsor a hole, solicit hole sponsors, bake cookies or bars for the golfers, or donate prizes for the winners!

Special Musical Note for Sunday, Oct. 25

On Sunday, October 25, at the 10 a.m. service, we shall have a special soloist in the person of Carol Victoria Urban. Carol is the goddaughter of Carol and Carl Anderson. She has spent the last five years studying violin and voice at a conservatory in Italy. Pictures we have received of her in operatic roles indicate that she has been well received. For us she will sing the prelude and at the offertory. We're sure you won't want to miss this as part of your worship.

Update on Kenya Project

Please read the note below from Fr. Pierre-Henry:

Since we received a matching gift of $3,500 our goal was to send enough money to rebuild two much-needed classrooms at Junior Amagoro Academy. You have responded so generously that we are now $1,076 away to build a 3rd classroom! You are amazing!
Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

Informational packets on this project, including donation envelopes, can still be picked up in the Gathering Hall.
Warm for Winter Collection on-going!

You may still donate clean coats in good condition for adults and children for the Warm for Winter collection. Also being collected are hats, gloves, socks, and blankets! The deadline to donate is this Sunday, the 18th! Look for the collection bin in the Parish Hall.
Are you being called to serve?

At the end of this year, three vestry members will be retiring from the Vestry.  The work of the Vestry is done in partnership with the Rector.  The Vestry and Rector are to
co-create a vision for St. Luke's that is a response to God's call and a plan to carry out that vision.   The Vestry is a leadership team both in material matters of the Church and in spiritual matters.  Are you being called to serve?  For more information on the role of the Vestry, feel free to ask any Vestry member or Fr. Pierre-Henry.
Vergers Needed for 10 a.m. Service

A few more Vergers are needed for the 10 a.m. service. If interested or you'd like more information about the role, please contact Lynne Wells by clicking  here.
