Telecare Ministry: The Most Important Form of Stewardship That We Can Do
"TeleCare is a quiet ministry, but it has mattered a lot...It helps keep far flung, busy urban congregants connected, and people 'appreciate the call, often saying it came just when they needed it.'...volunteer teams spend one hour, one evening...at the church, making calls and then praying together for each person contacted, naming each joy and concern."
Come learn how to incorporate this vital, lay pastoral ministry of caring within your congregation, and see how it affects their relationship with you, your church, and your community.
The workshop lasts only 100 minutes!
This workshop will be at St. Luke's on two dates:
Thursday, April 14, 1:30-3:10 p.m. and
Saturday, April 16, 9:30-11:10 a.m. (It will also take place at Trinity Cathedral in Phoenix on May 19 and 21.) For more information, contact

O
God, who for our redemption gave your only-begotten Son to the death of the cross, and by his glorious resurrection delivered us from the power of our enemy: Grant us so to die daily to sin, that we may evermore live with him in the joy of his resurrection; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever.
