Annual Reports Due Now!
We are looking for annual reports now for the year 2016 from commissions, church ministries, and our outside groups to include in the report we'll distribute prior to this year's Annual Parish Meeting. We'd like the St. Luke's annual report to be more detailed in years past! We'd like to include church ministries such as Don't Spend Christmas Alone Dinner, Cursillo, Daughters of the King, Aloha G.M.C. of St. Luke's (Men's Group), EfM, and others not mentioned here! Will the heads of those groups please submit a brief report of the commission's or ministry's 2016 activities/work to no later than December 31? Thank you in helping us give a clearer picture of all that is happening at St. Luke's.
2017 Pledge Envelopes
If you requested pledge envelopes for 2017, they are available now in the Gathering Hall. They can be found in one of the display bays on the right-hand side just after you walk into the building.
Is God Calling You?
The Vestry of St. Luke's shares leadership with the Rector in creating a plan of action that will represent God's dream for our congregation. Being a Vestry member is a true exercise in collaboration as we discern what we believe God's dream is for St. Luke's. Three members of our current Vestry will be retiring at the end of the year and we are looking for people willing to be considered for a position during our annual election in January. In order to be considered, you must be confirmed or received into the Episcopal church, have been a member for 6 months, and be an active pledger. Please contact Lucy Kemper at if you have questions and/or are interested in being of service.
Annual Parish Meeting
The Annual Parish Meeting will take place on Sunday, January 22, 2017, after the 10 a.m. service in the Parish Hall. Please save the date and plan to attend this important meeting!!
