Annual Parish Meeting & Candidates for Parish Elections
The Annual Parish Meeting will take place on Sunday, January 22, 2017, after the 10 a.m. service in the Parish Hall. Please plan to attend this important meeting!! Sign-up this weekend for the potluck that will accompany the Annual Meeting.

Office Closed for MLK Day - Monday, January 16
The Parish Office will be closed on Monday, January 16, 2017, in honor of Martin Luther King Day.

Progressive Christian Studies Continues on January 18
Fr. Bob Wills, using the book The Once and Future Jesus , will begin the winter session of Progressive Christian Studies. The 6-week winter session will meet on Wednesday evenings from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Conference Room of St. Luke's Church.
Air Compressor Needed
The Sexton needs an air compressor with holding tank for maintenance around the grounds. If anyone has one that they would be willing to donate to the Church, please contact Tom Ghan.

Next Singles Dinner Night Out - Jan 18 - Sign up now!
The next Singles Dinner Night Out will be held on Wednesday, January 18, at 5 p.m. at Casa Sanchez, 1459 W. Gurley Street in Prescott. The cut-off date to sign up is January 15. Sign-up now in the Gathering Hall. Contact Sherri Frances by email  here for more information.
Bishop Smith to visit St. Luke's on Jan. 29
Please be sure to make note that Bishop Kirk S. Smith will be visiting St. Luke's on Sunday, January 29, 2017. He will also hold a special informational forum. More details about his visit will follow next week!
Upcoming Art Show on Jan. 28 to feature St. Luke's artists 
Pronghorn Ranch's Second Annual Art Show & Reception on Saturday, January 28, 3 -5 p.m., will feature three of St. Luke's artists and our St. Luke's teens will also be there in support of TAG (Teen Artists' Gathering). Local watercolor artist Caroline Linscott will be sharing her works along with other invited artists. This event is open to the public. It is will be held in the Pronghorn Ranch Clubhouse, 7051 N. Antelope Meadows Drive in Prescott Valley. Click here for flyer!
Save the Date: The Truth about Cancer will begin on Feb. 12
Another 10-week session of "The Truth about Cancer: A Global Quest" docu-series, facilitated by Dr. Dayana Leclair, DHM, MS.CN, MS.ED, will begin on Sunday, February 12, at 12:30 p.m. in the Choir Room. It will be offered each Sunday from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the Choir Room at St. Luke's Church.
A Women's Retreat at Emmanuel Pines Camp in February
"Life in the Zone," a women's retreat for women of all ages will take place February 17-19, 2017, at Emmanuel Pines Camp in Prescott. Cost is $110 which includes lodging, meals, and supplies. Scholarship funds may be available. Invite a family member or friend to join you for this exploration of our lives-under-construction in Christ! Altar flowers are given in thanksgiving for our many blessings or a special event, in memory of a loved one, or to the glory of God. They are an offering that enrich our worship space. You may sign-up on the Altar Flowers poster on the bulletin board in the Gathering Hall. The suggested donation is $45.00 (however, any donation is accepted). If you would like to have a person or event named here, please notify the office.
